コレクション・フィールドの変更

コレクション・フィールドのプロパティを変更して、列制約を変更したり、より厳格なデータ整合性ルールを強制することができます。

VarChar フィールドの変更

VarChar フィールドには、max_length というプロパティがあり、フィールド値に含めることができる最大文字数を制限します。max_length プロパティを変更できます。

次の例は、コレクションにvarchar という VarChar フィールドがあると仮定し、そのmax_length プロパティを設定します。

ARRAYフィールドの変更

配列フィールドには、element_type とmax_capacity という2つのプロパティがあります。前者は配列の要素のデータ型を決定し、後者は配列の要素の最大数を制限します。変更できるのは、max_capacity プロパティのみです。

次の例では、コレクションにarray という名前の配列フィールドがあると仮定し、そのmax_capacity プロパティを設定します。

フィールドレベルのmmap設定の変更

メモリマッピング(Mmap)は、ディスク上の大きなファイルへの直接的なメモリアクセスを可能にし、Milvusがメモリとハードディスクの両方にインデックスとデータを格納することを可能にします。このアプローチは、アクセス頻度に基づいてデータ配置ポリシーを最適化するのに役立ち、検索パフォーマンスに影響を与えることなくコレクションのストレージ容量を拡張します。

次の例では、コレクションにdoc_chunk というフィールドがあり、そのmmap_enabled プロパティが設定されていると仮定します。
